It is more than just a name—it’s a philosophy. Often dismissed as a weed, the dandelion is actually a powerhouse—providing food, medicine, and even wine to those who recognize its value. That’s the heart of DandelionT: seeing potential where others see waste, and transforming the overlooked into something impactful.
Rooted in Port Alberni and reaching across Central Vancouver Island, this platform is home to multiple creative projects. The Recycling Project is the primary focus right now—an initiative that turns non-biodegradable materials into functional pieces, proving that discarded things still hold value. Through upcycled creations, community engagement, and hands-on learning, this project challenges the idea of ‘waste’ and encourages a more sustainable future.
